What you’ll focus on
- Building a new micro service from scratch which will be one of the core USPs from our company
- Laying the architectural foundation and working with the product manager to derive MVP functionalities and the long term product roadmap
- You’ll build up your team supporting you on delivering this
- Working closely together with other FinLink squads to implement the functionality to an existing modular monolith (currently RoR)
- Ideally you are strong in BE as the new micro service will use AI which will be provided by a 3rd party
- If you’re interested to learn about data science and data modelling you’ll have the option to grow your know how with an expert team which will support to deliver this
- Proven experience of building user-centric products
- Clear communication skills to convey complex ideas simply
- A holistic view of business needs, data, and imagination to guide tech decisions
- The ability to share and receive direct feedback with empathy and EQ
- Commitment to growing a healthy engineering culture and yourself as a leader
- The desire to work in the Ruby/Rails ecosystem, node.js + typescript would be an asset
